看小说的话从自己的爱好出发啊!没有爱好就培养啊。男生的话先去看点武侠小说……比如金庸的或是现在比较流行的网络玄幻小说啊。不过网上的书良莠不齐,比较杂。建议楼主先从《诛仙》开始好了。
当然楼主要是对名著感兴趣那就最好了。可以去图书馆随手借几本来品味一下。

英国文学 一、中世纪文学 古英语文学 英格兰岛的早期居民凯尔特人和其他部族,没有留下书面文学作品。
5世纪时,原住北欧的三个日耳曼部落——盎格鲁、撒克逊和朱特——侵入英国,他们的史诗《贝奥武甫》传了下来。诗中的英雄贝奥武甫杀巨魔、斗毒龙,并在征服这些自然界恶势力的过程中为民捐躯。
